Glitch Theatre sees accessibility as not only necessary, but also creatively generative. Our approach is adaptive and grounded in ongoing dialogue with our artists and audiences.
Our goal is to reduce barriers and continually improve accessibility through ongoing learning, community conversation, and disability justice practices.
We are committed to transparency about the accessibility measures we are able and unable to provide at a given time, and we take accountability for our missteps. We recognize that, even from within D/disability experience and community, there is always more to learn and improve.
Accessibility services vary by event. As we work in a range of rented venues, accessibility features may differ. Please check individual event pages for specific accessibility details.
Our website utilizes the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget to provide those visiting our website the ability to optimize their experience. The accessibility menu for our website can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu button that appears on the bottom-left corner of our website. After triggering the button, simply wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.
The button is represented by a circle icon with a person in the center.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding accessibility, you can reach or out to access@glitchtheatre.ca or call/text us at 604 322 7325. We would be happy to accommodate you as best we can.
